Goldstream

A fabulous camping weekend.  The weather was divine.  Actual sun. It's a beautiful campground and I think this was the biggest campsite we've ever been in.  The kids loved sharing the site.  We had both motorhomes parked backwards to the tables and it worked out perfectly.  

The girls played uno with Kai.  He was so thrilled to join in.  It was a noisy game.

Balmy evenings for the adults to just visit while the kids were busy.

Sun!  Chicco and Jasper are so cute.  It was nice not having our doggos but still getting some puppy time.

Group device time after their tv time.  Luk still isn't very mobile.  Dagen and Luk did go to the park a couple times but there isn't much Luk can do there right now and apparently the kids there were all little.  

There was a lot of this on our matching couches.  Chasing the sun spots.

Fei came out for dinner and a visit.

We had so much fun sharing we canceled our single for labor day and rebooked in a double :)

Peace Park

Changing of the guards.

She is averaging 20,000 steps a day.  24000 on this day.  Her feet are done.  Swollen.  Bug bites. Late nights. Tough on a Little Person.

Today the school work started. Two conferences.  Her work group got a good head start on the 1st assignment so she's pleased about that.

The organizer/professor is a dick.  The struggle is real.  The hotel fiasco continues.  Then atm issues for everyone.  Finally drama and chaos at the evening night market with bunches of students drunk and groups getting separated. Lili and two others made their way back in a cab, sober.  She is sure there will be more drama tomorrow but for now she's tucked in her room doing some homework and quizzes.  Lili doesn't drink so this part is frustrating for her.

Interestingly.  I thought being Asian would make her blend in while in Taiwan but she is standing out more than ever.  It's quite shocking how many comments she's dealing with.  

She is loving all the dumplings ;)
