Celebrating Lili
Lili's gotcha today. I can still so clearly remember holding her for the first time. Best moment of my life.
We love you little girl!
Rosa was with us for another Monday party :)
Indoor cats.
We've never had an indoor cat. Eugene is six months and still inside. He's Mr. Personality so we're hesitant to show him how to use the cat door. On the other hand he's a bit of a terror sometimes. He can leap to great heights and we often catch him trying impossible leaps. He crashes a fair amount. Not in love with the litter boxes. We have two because he hides and gets locked out of the kitchen regularly. And lastly there are his kills. Although I'm thrilled there are no guts, blood or feathers, we do lose a ton of toilet paper.

The train.
A nice dry warmish night so we went to ride the train and visit Santa. Train was awesome. We used the shuttle service, there was a proper que, we bought our tickets and walked right on the next train. Then we went to see Santa. Luk was excited right up until we got there. Jia wouldn't come in, Luk went into a panic and the photographer called me Gramma three times. I was correcting her while dealing with Luk. Guess she couldn't hear me. It's become a tradition to terrify the kids with Santa every year. Seriously horrible picture every year. Lili and Fei don't remember being scared. Jia is upset now that she didn't tell him what she wanted. Gonna have to write a letters.
The tree.
A lovely white spruce for Eugene ;)
We've opted to not put our nice tree decorations up this year. Between Luk and Eugene it just seems the right thing to do. The dollar store provided. I like how simple it looks.
Tree is up earlier than usual but we're having some fcc friends over on Friday for a sing-a-long so we're a week ahead :)

Jia's First Christmas Concert
Oh, she was so excited. I'm so happy she had fun. I totally figured she'd freak and refuse to go on the stage. She was partners with a little boy named Marko. Seems like just a couple weeks ago that Lili was up there partnered with Marko's big brother Andrew. So cute.
The concert was for K through grade 4. 5, 6 and 7's are doing a play in Jan. Lili got the roll she wanted. Exciting times. She's the big wheel in 'Clowns'.
It was also report card day. All three girls had stellar reports. Proud parents once again :)
