Flex Day
Kids to three different school. Kai has fasted and is very "hungy". We take him for blood work. No go. Three nurses. All tricks tried. Two pokes and nothing. Half hour there. Kai let everyone know how ticked he was. We leave. He is elated to be leaving while I tell Eric we have to break it to him that he has to come back tomorrow. Sigh. We get him an egg mcmuffin. He loves any food wrapped in any bread. They are all burgers to him. He is the fastest eater we've ever seen. Gorging, double fisting food in, swallowing without chewing. Daily problem. Until he's sitting in the car outside of the school and he takes 20 minutes to eat half!
Then we go to town to get a travel permission letter notarized. The notary has moved. We poke around a couple stores and walk to our lawyers office. He does the letter. Eric is taking the three girls to Seattle in a couple weeks to see Taylor Swift.
We had an early lunch. Home around 1. Eric got out my porch couch swing for me. I set my timer and got a little nap before going to pick up the littles. Got them home. Changed Luk. Turned back out to pick up the teens. Took the convertible but didn't think that through. Was a bit hot for waiting in the car. Took them to cat sit. Then home for half an hour before taking Lili to work.
Home to do some dishes while Eric made dinner. Boys start their bedtime routine at 6:15. They're in bed now. Phew.
I totally feel like nothing got done today. I've been on the go for 12 hours. Sorta looking forward to work tomorrow.

Mother's Day Tea
Mom won the raffle three times! Jia was thrilled with the pink Tupperware lunch kit.
Sorting laundry.
Eric does most of the washing and then I get it put away. Not a favorite chore so I get behind and leave it too long. Then we end up digging in the baskets.

May the 4th be with you.
So the Star War shirts are on.
Luk has a neurologist appointment this afternoon in Saanich. Traffic was good so they have time for a playground visit. Eric sent me a picture of some happy looking kids.
He's offered them Spaghetti Factory if they can manage decent behavior during the appointment. There are a zillion toys at this place so it's really really tough for Kai to control the excitement. It's tough for Jia to control her need to have the boys spun out of control. Good luck Eric. Even though we all know he'll take them no matter what.
