Car Parade and Skiing.

 

Funny moment.  Oliver is in the wrong spot eating dog food.  Coco was mesmerized. Shockingly she didn't attempt to chase him off.

Next cat moment, not so funny.  Eric came up to bed and found Lewis stuck in the top baby gate!  Seriously.  Jia tried helping release him but Eric eventually just broke the last rung off the gate.  Lew-man ran for the hills.  We haven't seen him since.  None of us know how long he was stuck there. Poor guy. Typical ferral, he didn't call out.  

Rosie and Joey are here for the weekend.  Coco is miffed about her being on the couch but Rosie is ignoring Coco's words.  She slept with Finn through the night.  So sweet together.

Joey has his spot.  These too are very cute together.  I still can't catch Joey to get him out to potty but Kai can.

My back up screen cracks me up with the backside of the wreath.

Lili went skiing today!

Her 1st time.

She liked it. Weird.

The boys and I were chuckling about the fact that Lili missed the memo that Nelson's don't like snow.  Haha.

Dinner out at Harbour House in Sidney before the car parade.  The Chinese food was really quite good.

I only took the one photo.  Too busy chatting about dogs, Jeeps and Jeepapaloosa with another fellow from our Jeep club. There were 6 Jeeps representing tonight but a very sad turn out overall.  The storm obviously kept people away.  

Our power went out for a few seconds while we were out.  Enough to turn the hot tub off.  Oy.  I didn't realize and hopped in to a very disappointing 34.  I like 39 or 40.  So now I'm in bed early hoping the duvet will work miracles and warm me up.

Lili's Gotcha

 

Lili has spent the weekend in Vancouver to see Taylor Swift.  Friday and Sunday with Taygating on Saturday.  Today was her gotcha and she got to have breakfast out with Lian this morning.  So fun to see them celebrate together.

They came upon a crowd and then watched a police escorted cavalade that they all believe was Taylor headed to the arena.  

They're having a great time.

Coming back to the island early tomorrow morning. Lili will head straight to work.  She is going to be exhausted by the time she gets home.

Another appointment for Jia.  Waiting for our turn to be questioned.  Sigh. I looked over and laughed at his maxing and relaxing just like Kai.

I wanted an adult Grinch McHappy meal to get the sox.  The pairs are mismatched.  I mentioned that I wasn't sure I could actually wear mismatched sox.

So, dear hubby got a happy meal that he didn't particularly want just so I could have matched sets.  Then Jia pointed out after the fact that we could have just ordered the sox.  Haha.  Oh well, it was fun.

Such a beautiful sunny weekend.  We strolled the market, ran some errands and ate lunch out.

Thai Lum Lum.  We went to try the new Thai restaurant downtown, the menu was awfully familiar.  It is the same as the place in Chemainus we go to because they're family and connected.

I know you will all be in disbelief at this.  Probably jealous too.  I know it's just too exciting.

I can hardly believe it myself.

Lili's command central for a Taylor Swift ticket drop.  She managed to get one ticket for the last night of the Eras tour.  

So two happy Nelson girls tonight ;)

Mr Luk had science homework.  We knocked it out in 20 minutes by working together.  Teachers...seriously...stop with this nonsense at home.  I didn't need to learn this today.  Eric didn't need to learn this today.  Trust me, families have more than enough to get done in a day without your busy work coming home.

I had to laugh at Eric's duck, he didn't put his Mickey back, it gets to stay on the Commander.

My fall was a week ago but my foot is worse.  Keeps swelling when  I over do it.  My butt is bruised and there isn't a single comfortable position.  So I'm definitely being crabby about it.  I layed low today and didn't get much done and my list is long.  But, I get to see Donny.  

I ordered Shein and Temu things for the kids and a wee something for me  came in a package today.  Haha.  It's a baby Onyx.  Too cute.

Eric installed her under carriage lights today. Love!

She has all the colors, flashing, fading and alternating.  So fun.  I'll likely just use the plain red ;)  Possibly alternating red and green for the Christmas parade.  It's controlled by an app.

Eric wants to do inside our Falcon trailer now.  Our dinette is supposed to have strip lighting around it but it's not in ours.  Presumably someone took it out, we're 3rd owners.

Fei made this video of our girl.  It's beautiful.  Thankyou Fei.  Omg I miss her so much.  A doggo life well lived.  She really was the goodest.
