Auntie Julie sent candy. Fancy, pretty Christmas candy. Luk was pretty excited. He's our sugar hound.

Luk and the Candy

1st in line.
Every day Jia wants to be first at school. She is never first. Usually 10th or 11th. We're lucky most days to just get there in time. The other day Lili and Fei wanted to be early to ask for help on a math homework question and Jia got to be first in line! Special times.
Cairnsmore
The big girls danced and played piano on Sat. at Cairnsmore. It's fun having Hanna back at dance. We met Penny and Hanna for lunch first, a rare moment away from the Littles.
The Sing-A-Long
We used to get together and do this every year when the kids were younger. I wasn't sure how this party would turn out but I think it went really great. The older girls all loved the singing part. The Littles had fun and really enjoyed getting to ring their jingle bells. Dawn-Marie and Al were fabulous as usual. We should have opened some windows so the neighbors could have heard.
Eugene tried desperately to get into the living room with us all but we had two young guest dogs that thought they should bark at him and give chase. I'm sure that was quite an eye opener for him. His two dogs adore him and he is usually the Prince. Perhaps good timing for him to realise not everyone is a friend as he is just starting to explore the great outdoors.
We all had a great time singing and catching with friends.
Dumplings
Using the dumpling table Eric got us. Fei is becoming a pro. Jia is great at rolling out the rounds, here she is branching out and trying to roll four at once. Hands down the favorite meal at our house. Well, Luk still dislikes them but he was happy with noodles.
