Sing A Long

7 families gathered to sing and eat and laugh. We had a great time. Kids had a great time. Even the teens looked like they had a great time. Not enough time to finish any conversations. Now I need to visit all the Moms! It got crazy loud. It was fun to watch the boys running around with Dagen. Luk has declared Dagen his best friend. So cute. In amongst the fun Luk lost a tooth. The fairy remembered hours after getting to bed. We got the house cleaner than normal for the party. Eric even cleared a space in the basement so kids could run around and play with balls and hockey sticks. Now we move onto Christmas Eve. Mom and Dad are coming for dinner. Jia is really, really, really ready to decorate our packaged gingerbread village set. We need a trip to Superstore. I'm sort of looking forward to it.

This guy was obsessing getting to Nicole who is allergic.  How do they know?  He was chased out over and over. We kept putting him out the front door so it would take a bit for him to get back in through his cat door. He found cuddles here and there but he was overtly trying to get to Nicole.

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth.
Luk and Dagon have fresh holes.  Kai hasn't lost a tooth yet.  Didn't stop him from showing me his missing teeth though :)

He was exhausted after the guests left ;)
Out of order. Asia and Mei Ling hiding from the camera.

Christmas Party

Our wee staff of three had our Christmas lunch yesterday at the Sawmill. Funny part was we were all wearing black vests! Sue and I even both had red shirts on under.

Stats

Just went onto my work computer to the blogger dashboard to add a picture to the last post.  I almost never go here.  I wrnt because I'm still stuck using bloggeroid. I use my phone to blog.  Anyway...says there have been 130 views today.  I don't think I know that many people.  Wild.  Anyway.  Shout out to everyone following, waving at you!

Winter

Winter is here. Yuk. The last week of school is so busy. Way too much crammed in. We did have one day at home. School district made a bad call on having the schools open. Turned out not enough teachers and support staff and an hour after drop off we were told to go get the kids. Eric was already in the school so worked out ok for us. Tough on parents who don't have a parent available. Next day no ea support for Luk so he got another day off with Dad. Today is gingerbread houses. Tomorrow is pancake breakfast (served at lunch) movie day, pajama day and Santa visit. Phew. I was happily telling Eric this morning that this was the last lunch we had to pack this year which just reminded him he's cooking hundreds of pancakes tomorrow. Minus 6 this morning and they cook outside on a big grill.

These two played nicely on their own at a friends party.

These three played hard at the same party.

Flex day? What flex day? Took most of the day to wrap!

Yuk, Yuk, Yuk

Big Buddies came to help.

This is his happy fake camera smile.  He has an actual smile that looks like a smile but it's really hard to catch!  If he knows there is a camera he is all about the fake smile.  Looks like a grimace!

Cassey's Coffee House

Lili and Fei danced at Cairsmore yesterday. Mom and I took them. As soon as they were done we raced to Youbou to Cassey's Coffee House. Another wee adventure. We were short in time because Lili got called into work. So the girls ate a late lunch mom and I had a snack. And...we got to see their miniature Christmas town. 150 little buildings. Very impressive collection. We had fun looking in windows and pointing out cool stuff. I think the littles would have enjoyed it. They didn't want to come. Go figure.

Taylor Swift

It's her Birthday.  I have a serious fan in the house who keeps me apprised of all important facts.

So...general sales started today and I had assumed that we the fans would buy up the better, closer more expensive seats and the cheap seats would be left for general sales.  I made this ok for myself. Because Lili's sanity depended on us having tickets asap.  Imagine my delight to see that the tickets actually went WAY up in price!  We paid 136 before fees, taxes and exchange.  Same section is now 330.  Yay.  Small win.  Thanks for the fan loyalty T.S.

Cards Done!

Feeling accomplished. Cards mailed and updates to the kids five social welfare institutes. Even an update sent to our world vision kiddo. Phew.

The littles took in their cards and gifts for their teachers and class mates.

Jia took in mini hedgehog truffles for her classmates to celebrate her Birthday. Her first time sharing early.

The chosen card photo.

Thrift find for Miss Lacie today! So cute.
