Our local school district puts on these events for kids up to age 8. We used to take the girls all the time when they were younger, they've outgrown the crafts and we haven't gone for a couple years. I got it in my head that it would be good for Jia to go, so, off we went. She's way too young and the girls are too old. We had the most fun we could there. Jia really enjoyed the singing and was thrilled to get her hands on some instruments. Lili was pretty much happy to decorate and eat a cookie. She enjoyed watching Jia. Fei was happy to do the crafts but really they were too simple for her and it was clear she'd prefer to be home putting more time into her art. I think we'll hold off taking Jia again until she's a bit older.
