The littles made cat puppets this morning. Then there were lots of shows ;) Jia told stories and Luk giggled and moved his cat around. Fun times at our place.
I did housework and laundry. Eric changed the oil in his car. Big girls had more rehearsal all afternoon.
Luk and Jia enjoyed a stop at their favorite park. It was upsetting to find their fave lay down disk swing is gone. The stand is still there. Hopefully it's being repaired and is coming back.
It's hard to find time in a day to get to everything Jia wants to do. We had Meili and Priya so played in the backyard again. Then moved our play to the front yard when they went home so that Jia and Luk could ride bikes. Luk is on a strider bike. He's able to move it this year. Now to work on steering.
Lots going on this week. Jia is going to the Nanaimo fish hatchery so they can release their fish. She is pretty excited but likely the most thrilled about going on the bus. Lili is going to the young authors convention on Tuesday. The big girls have rehearsal on Monday and Wednesday for three hours each. All our regular activities are still on. Finally ending our week with the play on Fri, Sat and Sun.
So nice to be wearing shorts. Such amazing weather for May!
