Well, first road trip in the moho in the heat. We weren't a bunch of happy campers this afternoon for sure. Holey cow did this thing get stinkin' hot during the afternoon! I'm asking Eric what is involved with installing air. He won't even engage me in conversation. Anyone? What is involved? Approx. how much for a 1980 moho. I don't need anything to look fancy. Block of ice with a battery fan blowing over it maybe? I'm happy to throw money at this problem. How much longer is this heat going to be here?
We ended up stopped at a park because I just had to get out! We had a snack in some shade and regrouped before landing at Cathryn and Marty's. Where there was no shade and we then huddled in the basement by a fan. 37. Yikes.
We skipped dinner, too hot to even contemplate.
Lili and Fei are thrilled to be hanging with Lian. Lian is simply gorgeous. They're having a sleep over in Lian's room tonight. They have two black kittens here that look just like Batman. Bo and Buzz. Jia was amused for a couple hours with the kittens.
We kept Luk up later than usual because it was too hot to contemplate putting him in the moho. Then he was restless. Poor kid. He doesn't do well in the heat.
Marty came through with a long electrical cord and a fan which has made all the difference. Not sure what we will do all the other nights!
It's 3 in the morning. I'm up relishing the cold!!
Tomorrow we're meeting Susan, Francis, Olivia and Serephina. Yay. Then onto Taylor Swift. The girls just let me know today that we have to be there at 5 and it isn't over until 11. I don't think I'm really up to six hours of swiftie hype in this heat. Do you think there is any chance the air conditioning will work at BC Place with 59800 people there?
