My friend and coworker Barry died last week. His send off was today. He was supposed to have a couple years left but the life saving measure failed miserably. He will be missed.
Eric and the kids graciously came with me today to his house to pay respects to his wife Deb. We got to see her new baby miniature horses. Only three months old and so cute.
Afterwards we scooted to Nanaimo and accidently headed straight to the bathtub races festival. We surprisingly got parking and had a nice play and walk in the park. Turns out Pokémon Go is way more fun in a crowd. Lots of lures on poke spots. Caught quite a few critters. A couple more funny photos. Finished our night with Noodle Box and then a root beer slurpees for the drive home.
Late night for the boys. Fingers crossed they sleep past 7. It's unlikely but we can hope.
