Butterbeer

We tried to make it this afternoon.  Jia and I thought the flavor was close. Lili and Fei not so much.  We didn't try the ice slush.  So the consistency was off.  Eric had nothing to compare it to so he just thought it was yummy.  The boys were busy playing downstairs so I didn't bother calling them up for a sugar drink that had no meaning for them.

We shopped Tswassen Mills today. It is big!  Nice mall.  We're all planning to come back for back to school shopping. 

She was supposed to share.  Instead she used both straws.

Oh the envy.  I wanted to go nap beside him.

Last day at Disney

We said our good byes.  Spent a few hours in California Adventure Land.  Seemed a tad quieter today.  Jia did a Princess visit with Elana.  She hasn't been keen to do princesses.  She was sad that she missed Judy Hops and then on the way out she was there!  She got to become an honorary police force for Zootopia.  Fun.

The bigger news is that she did Screaming with Lili and Fei and liked it and went again.  Wow. 

Back to Disneyland

Fei's phone says we did 20,000 steps today. 

Feet are stinging!  Can't wait to be on my couch all day Saturday.

We managed to 'do Disney' in three days.  Nothing missed or on the wish list.  Well...Mom wanted to see Goofy and we missed him.  We have a half day tomorrow.  No decision made on which park or what we're doing.  My guess would be the Cars ride.  Need to vote. We didn't shop at all.  Also very little character visiting.  Jia isn't totally keen.  And NO princesses for Missy either.  So ya' that saves a lot of time.

Lili reports that Johnny Depp was in Disneyland all day today.  Dressed as Captain Sparrow and surprising guests.  We didn't see him though.

Finally, Pluto met Pluto.

Letting Jia bring Pluto to the park today made a huge difference.  Jia wasn't climbing on everything non stop...Pluto was and we had fun telling him to stop.  He needs a bath already though.

Homefront

Splitting up for a holiday works in some ways.  The boys moved to the moho which they're thrilled about. Eric verathaned the upstairs wood floor.  Super stinky.  Hence the move out part.  The critters are all confined to the kitchen, less overall mess.  Eric reports less dishes, less laundry and less cooking.  ;)

Disneyland

We're all exhausted.  This Disney thing is a lot of work.  We did a lot today.  Started in Tomorrowland and moved through It's a Small World and then did Toon Town.  We even managed to hold down curb spots to see The Electrical Light Parade. Which was fun.  Mom chatted with a family sitting next to us who are in process of immigrating to Canada and are researching Duncan and Saanich as their goal.  How crazy is that?!  Their daughter and Jia played hard together.  They were adorable to watch.
