We started with Purple Garden. Mmm yam balls. Then onto Butchart. Perfect night. Not too cold, no rain and not crazy busy. We had a great stroll. Kai was very animated and had lots to say! Luk sang "five golden rings" about 80 times. Said he couldn't remember the rest of the words. Oy. It was a late night for us. Got held up on the highway in a 30 minute crawl. Had no idea what was up. Assumed accident. It ended up being a road block. I'm all for road checks but that was nuts. Malahat is a horrible enough highway without added waits!
