We did a thing today. It was time to force a family outing. There was grumbling. The view made it worthwhile.
All of us in one shot would have been nice but we were alone up there. Plus covid.
The start of the trail. Way, way past our abilities as a group.
Some of us scampered up. Some of us were occasionally dragged up by the big guy.
Eric hung on to Kai the whole way there and back.
Luk did fabulously. He only stumbled a couple times. Made me panicky at the top so Eric clung to him too.
Lili's gotcha this coming Tuesday. It will be our first apart. Weird. So she came home this weekend to celebrate. She's picked lettuce wraps and swartzy potatoes for dinner. Odd combination but we aim to please. Or Eric does since he shopped and is cooking. I just made the hiking plan and paid for lunch. Haha.

Progress! Floor done. Trim done. Lights up. Last of the touch up paint done on the skylight. Electrical sockets and vacuum plumbing next. So he can reach the end of the bathroom and avoid the debacle of my fall ever again. Solving problems one by one ;)
Thank you Albi for helping out this morning. Scaffolding to the outside upper deck. Railings can go up now. Eric says the pink couches are never coming out now. The room is truly gorgeous. Hands down my fave room in the house right now.
