Haha. They did pull the ropes tight and things creaked. There was a moment they thought maybe they had budged the shed.
The plan was to move the shed back 13' by pulling it with the motorhome using a rope and pulley system.
The pivot point proved to be the issue. Post yanked out. Boards snapped in half. They got more and more creative with each try.
The tree that fell on our house proved useful. Stronger than lumber boards and posts.
The Navigator got pulled into duty so they could anchor straps on the backside. The neighbor was offering equipment brought through the fence but the guys were feeling they were getting close and wanted to try again.
I was getting tense watching. Navigator and moho in perilous danger as well as safety for the guys! Plus, rain, cold and soooo much mud. I got voted to be the one to pick up lunch and was relieved to get to leave. Luk wanted to stay. He enjoyed the whole thing.
Miracles of Miracles, they did it! While I was gone they used a car jack to raise a corner and then it slid right back. Wish I'd seen it but was glad for some peaceful time with my car heat seaters.
No injuries, car and moho are OK. Men folk did a big manly thing together. Eric owes Al and Albi some reciprocal tough job time. ;)
