Shannon got this picture. Typically Kai isn't allowed to pick up the Chihuahuas. He's made some amazing strides in caring for them lately and Sassy loves him. She was struggling on the beach and he proudly yelled out that he had her. He was so proud of helping.

They were here for the weekend. We were sad to have them go.
We had a few quiet hours here before Dawn-Marie and Al joined us. They're camping in Cheese. How cute are they on their fancy new rides?! Check out the puppies in the basket.
Coco was keen to walk again. She moves at her own pace. The big guy was way behind letting her do her thing.
We brought the sun shade tent to the beach for Finn but we didn't really have sun today. Eric, Al and Luk sat in it anyways. Haha.
Mom joined us for the day. She got a rare Coco cuddle.

After dinner Mom was playing Yatzee with Luk. Kai and I joined them. Kai wanted to just watch but I urged him to try. He had a heck of a time learning to shake and roll. He wanted to grab and throw. After two full rounds he was still throwing but he was clearly reading the dice, taking the right ones out and taking the next two rolls. He was extremely cooperative. Brag...I got three Yatzees in one round!
