We here!!

Lunch break in the trailer.  Seafood salad from the deli for Eric and an .87c lunchable for me ;)  I MUCH prefer this way of traveling to restaurants and hotels.

What a beautiful day.  15 out.

We stopped for sun.  Eric why do you look mad? Look at the sun.

That's better.

This delay means arriving in the dark later, but, worth it.

And, back to a Walmart in Susanville.  We forgot to get a mattress topper in the morning. Eric was planning to sleep in the kids beds rather than on our hard mattress again.  Haha.  The problem might have been that he normally sleeps five to six hours and he slept 9 1/2 last night.  

He also found a telescopic ladder.  It's really hard to imagine this is safe.  Shannon, all stories begin with "he was on a ladder..."  Then we found sugar free hot chocolate!  Something I can't find at home and is stupid expensive on Amazon.  I bought four boxes.  

We did the wicked drive.  It was fine.  Oscar handled it beautifully.  The look out picture would have been better in daylight but the lights are pretty cool too.

Eric envisioned transmission,  radiator and overheating issues.  Oscar ran cool non stop.  He has proved himself now.  The road trip planning can commence.  

We're here.  In the dream spot.  Living the life.  The new eggshell topper is on.  It doesn't feel any better yet.  Eric is setting up 'The Long Long Trailer' to watch.  Time to put the phone down. Oh, he isn't missing his phone yet but finds he misses checking the time.  He just set the time on the microwave ;)  

Tomorrow we have no plan.  Just hanging out all day.
