I way overdid New Years Eve day. So I was stuck to the couch for the celebrations. Thank you Shannon for graciously hanging out with me. Of course the babies love it when I spend extended time with them. I do not care for being sidelined. At all.
We just had one other family over for our traditions. It was quiet and fun.
Eric and Ken took over kitchen duty. They served yummy dinner, snacks and breakfast.
Gobsmacked.
Kai was playing Monopoly! Like for real playing.
Delivery service with a smile :)
Shannon's picture. It captured the whole essence of the night perfectly.
Lili and Fei ate dinner with us then Lili took off to celebrate with friends and Fei went to work.
Eric, Gramma and Ken took four of the kids to see Sonic 3 on New Years Day. I'm still so thrilled to have our little theater back. Shannon and I took a wee drive to Chemainus to drive by a house coming up for sale by Dawn-Marie. It's not the pretty yellow one with all the gingerbread that I love so it was easy to say nope, we'll just stay where we are. I mean, who am I kidding, we hit 20 years in our house this past Dec. we're apparently never leaving.
We'll see what 2025 has in store for us.
