Fei and I are ready for Beijing. Leaving early tomorrow morning. So excited mixed with the dread of leaving the littles. Feeling teary every time I think about it. Left the packing until the last day. Fei was a real trooper about running around today to get it all done.
We had a five day camping trip in the trailer to Parksville. We all had a great time. Day trips, shopping, hiking at Englishman River Falls and Dragon boating. Fun with friends, lots of bike riding and walks and finally some sun on the last full day for some sun and sand at the beach. Luk loved the beach.
Kids are all loving camping this year. Big girls are off on their own a lot of the time. Jia is doing great riding her bike.
Eric got me a new mattress for the motorhome and he's having new dinnette cushions made while we're away. Actually found some burnt orange fabric to match the couch! It's been a fun project. Eric and I went on a date last night in the motorhome. Had some alone time and a fabulous meal. Extremely rare to have a few hours alone! Lili and Fei babysat for us. Lili is actually changing diapers!
Going to attempt creating wifi in our room. Taking a router. Wish us luck with that. We'll both have our smart phones. No data this time, relying on wifi. You can text or e-mail us. Might be slow to respond. Planning to blog if we can.
