Soooo many appointments.
Last week I had the big exam with a third eye specialist. Good news is the eye pressure is fine. He doesn't feel there is glaucoma. No longer on the 6 month call back but a one year call back.
Luk had dental surgery twice. He was a total trooper. Barely aware and didn't skip a beat. Just said "my lip is numb".
Lili and Fei both had imprint appointments at the orthodontist. We get to meet him tomorrow for the plan. I suspect Lili is ready for those braces and Fei not quite. Fei still has baby teeth to come out.
I had a pulpectomy/root canal. Fun. Took two appointments.
Kai sees his eye specialist in Victoria on Thursday. He's on six month call backs. Likely for life.
Today Kai had an ekg. Tomorrow a blood draw. He HATES needles. Prep for his surgery coming up on the 19th. He sees the anesthesiologist next Friday. Fingers crossed he let's us stay on track. I have fear we'll get bumped to Children's when he meets Kai.
As well...the three littles started an after school program held at the school. One day a week. The boys are there without support. It's an hour and 15 minutes. Worked last week. The fellow running the program taught Lili and Fei how to swim when they were little. He's great with kids. Didn't seem to care that there might be issues. Eric left his cell number told him he could be there in three minutes.
Jia also went to a sports drop in yesterday. She loved it. Not many girls there but she didn't care. She was a sweaty mess when I got there to pick her up.
That was all above and beyond the regular schedule. Phew.
Oh and our oven quit. We use the oven a lot. Even finding time to shop out a new one was difficult. Mom watched the littles on Friday while the girls were at work. We did find one. Trying to stick with white in my very white kitchen but they're out of style so not so easy to find. Hopefully it comes this week in time for Thanksgiving.
