Day - Discovery

Gorgeous day for a walk.  Found random people size cages on the street?  Funny.
We were on our way to the Children's Discovery Museum.  We took different routes so we could see more.
The museum was a big hit.
Right up until it became too much. He had no clue what anything was. The others were reading, following directions, comparing idea.  Kai was starting to fight for a turn. Pushing and shoving.  I removed him to a hallway.  It took longer than usual to change gears.  He seemed stuck on wanting to be mad and crying.  I eventually took him to a room on his own and once he could just play without competition he settled right back down.  Phew.  Lili eventually joined us and Kai wasn't concerned about her.
A lot of teamwork happened today!
Math whiz.
We went to Circus Circus to play in the midway.  On the way there I told them I'd give them $20 each to play games.  Then we stopped to look at a giant slot machine.  Eric handed me $20. By the time he'd walked the kids across the way I'd already won $150.  I played down to $120. Cashed out.  $20 back to Eric and $20 to each kid.  It was a huge thing to them that I won their game playing money.  So it was free.  Free is always more fun.
They played for two hours. Had lots of tickets to spend.  They all had a bag of goodies!  Then the kids unanimously wanted Panda Express.  They're all in love with their orange chicken. So we got theirs to go and went back to our hotel.  Lili and Fei babysat again and Eric and I went to the buffet.  Carlos was happy to see Eric again. Arms open wide ;) He was thrilled to hear the kids went to the Discovery Museum. We were too tired from our day to stay out.  7 hours of walking and pushing Luk. My back is stinging. Very grateful to be laying down.

Overall it's been a great little road trip.  Reno has really changed. It's clean. You don't see much in the way of unsavory things.  No one on the street pushing tickets, timeshares or women. The odd homeless person. Security and police everywhere.  Honestly it's a LOT better than our little town. I'm sure there are issues here but happy to report not so much in the hotel/tourist area.
