The kids all prefer to keep the theme of Disney names for the pets. I chose Finn. Most everyone approved. You can imagine how hard it is to find names that everyone likes. I wanted a strong name for a warrior. FN-2187 a First Order Stormtrooper made the choice to rebel and join the resistance becoming 'Finn' in the Force Awakens. Pretty strong moral character.
And, Finn is also short for Finnigan, a beloved Canadian childhood dog puppet from Mr. Dressup. My kids don't like this reference. I really loved Finnigan. Looks so incredibly dorky now but at the time I thought he was pretty cool.
