Well, I ordered Finn's meds Dec 6. The order wasn't placed. It was reordered last week. It has shipped but now deliveries aren't happening. Eric and I just scrounged all the syringes we could find in the messy cupboard and filled until the bottle was empty. We needed 13 and got exactly 13. It's a Christmas miracle.
Eric shoveled for three hours and got us set up for the car to park at the gate. So the next
shovel out will be much smaller. The car is loaded. It's a giant jigsaw puzzle. A staggering amount went in there. It took an hour and a half just to get it all out there and crammed in.
We were planning to wear runners and layers under our rain coats. We scrapped that idea. Packed the raincoats and shoes into the basement of the car. Caravans have a full basement. We don't use it very often. Now we're all wearing winter coats and boots. I have everyone's clothing, coats, boots and personal bags set up at the table. To ease the chaos at 2 in the morning.
The morning ferries were canceled this morning. We're expecting the same thing again. The plan is to follow the plan and hope for the best. At least we'll be lined up for the first ferry that moves. Or I'm delusional and we're not getting off this island.
