Ya'll, he sat here just long enough to drink a coffee. He asked for a stay at home spa day. He meant sitting in the hot tub not fun beauty treatments we could have tortured him with. So far today we've been too busy to even sit in the spa.
Yesterday we didn't even see him until dinner time. The girls and I basically passed him on our way out. We went to Nanaimo to see The Little Mermaid. It was fabulous! Go see it, it was worth a watch.
Eric turned this electric fridge into a 12 volt fridge. So it can be used in Cheese or the car. I don't need it in Cheese, the cooler in there fits and keeps ice for 4 days. This would be great for road trips though. After puttering with this he mowed the lawn and put more shelves up in his workshop/garage. He doesn't sit still. Today his relaxing day has entailed breakfast for the boys, dishes, vacuuming, 3 loads of laundry so far, pet care/clean up. Lunch for the boys. Chemicalized the pool and hot tub. Wandered around the garage and decided he needs better lighting but a roll of wire is $100 now so he's annoyed about that, he's cooked Isabel's dog food for the week. Now he's cooking potatos and eggs for potato salad to go with dinner tonight. Oh, and while I putter gathering things for the trip he is helping me here and there. This is relaxing to him. He's happy to not have to drive anywhere or talk to anyone. I drove Jia to work today. Lili will bring her home. Fei is home today. Weirdly, we will all be together for dinner tonight.
