Jia's last recital. Gramma, Fei and I went to watch. It was a good show. The best part was watching Jia of course. She doesn't think she wants to do dance next year. It's a shame because she's good.

Sat afternoon Shannon, Ken and Dagen came for a visit. Penny and Brad joined us for dinner. We needed sour cream for baked potatoes so Eric and I went to Walmart in the morning. We decided to just do a whole grocery shop since we were there. We never shop on Saturday. We were a bit dismayed at how busy it was but we ran into so many people we knew. It was more of a social than a chore. We might purposely grocery shop on a Saturday next time.
The boys were so happy to see Dagen. Kai couldn't quite meld in this time. There were a few tears. Luk admitted today that he teased him a bit too much. He got a little talk about all the ways he can include Kai without totally including Kai. Boys just seem to get over these things quickly. This is going to happen more and more as the other kids zoom past him in development.
As always it's shocking how fast a whole weekend zoomed by.
