Easter Seal. We actually got an ac unit. It is set to 18. Haha. It won't budge. So we cool it down and then turn it off. It does get sweltery pretty fast. Without it we would definitely be suffering.
The rubber beds and pillows are just not comfortable. Grateful that the Government that put a salary cap on families for housing had a change of mind and are once again funding rooms for families visiting Children's. Next time we'll be back to requesting a hotel. Apparently there was some hoopla from families trying to find rooms in Vancouver, last minute, during summer. Haha. Of course.
Easter Seal is fabulous if you don't have a car. It's very walkable to the hospital.
He was in good spirits and very brave. My first time not having to gown up and go into the operating room with him.
All done. Popsicle time.
On the way home by 10:10. Wow.
Luk had the 1st appointment of the day. We're on standby hoping for the 11:30 with a possible wait until the 12:45.
He's a bit sore and quite tired.
