Ew. This is why the pool needs to be opened in May. Eric used the last of his chemicals on this mess.
We just went to Canadian Tire and restocked pool supplies. Then came home to check the water level and clarity. It's improving quickly thank goodness. Eric noticed something swimming in the water. Thought maybe a mink. He went to get a broom to rescue him and I ran for my camera. Then we all watched the critter swim to the filter basket hole and leap out effortlessly and onto the fence for a little shake. It was a squirrel. Hillarious, he just went for a swim. In all these years we've never seen that.
We tried to get led bulbs for the entrance chandelier and it was $80 at Home Depot. Gulp. I just ordered them plus extras from Amazon for $30. Same situation for the closet organizers. Really poor selection and prices way higher than online. So, I'm studying the size details now. I have 8x11 to work with.
Our pharmacy at Superstore doesn't have the eye drops prescribed to Luk by the eye specialist. I went to Walmart and they do have it. However called me to let me know they don't have that dose in Canada but she thinks perhaps I can get a compounding pharmacy in the states to get it made for him. Good lord. I think rather than battle this I'll just call the eye specialist first. Why can't things be simple.
While I was on Amazon ordering light bulbs and looking at closet organizers Eric was also on Amazon throwing Oscar parts in the cart. Haha. For his Birthday he selected a bigger car air compressor, all new door hinges and new shocks.
Closet organizers ordered!
Finally. I've battled the closet for many, many years. Problems being solved step by step. This is pretty exciting. Possibly even more exciting than new tea towels. Of course it might take forever to get to the part of actually cutting a big hole in our roof but for now, step one of moving out of the space.
Eric might reconsider letting me stay home on a sunny weekend. Haha.
