A whole weekend at home. Unheard of in July.
Eric is thrilled.
I'm ansty. We did get a lot done yesterday and that feels good and helps for the upcoming week. But it's sunny and we should be off somewhere, doing something fun. Eric is outside washing the Commander and Falcon. He did Oscar and Onyx yesterday. Hoping he gets to opening the pool up today too.
I have to go to the pharmacy and pick up prescriptions and drop Jia at work. Then I'm going to Home Depot to look at closet organizers. My plan is to move out of our closet into the pink room using organizers that will work in the new expanded closet. If I prepare for it, he will build it. Haha. It's a start, there is hope. Now to pin him down to actual measurements.
Eric washed the back deck yesterday and the cushions are out. I'm sitting in my big comfy rocker, in the sun, the birds are chirping and it's quite lovely. Today I'm staying here forever.
I offer up fun outings to the kids daily and daily they prefer to just stay home. That is so frustrating.
We are doing Eric's Birthday camp trip on Tues. Stamp River for five days. We've never been but we love being in Port Alberni so we're looking forward to this one. I haven't told Luk there likely won't be cell service yet though.

Last night Eric took me out for a top back drive in Oscar. I requested Dollarama so I could see if the tea towels I bought a few weeks were still there. They were, and I bought five more. So bougie, we have 10 matched kitchen towels now. Haha. Adulting hard when that's your Saturday night date.
