Eric was tinkering all day. Luk said he was bored after school today. So Eric got him tinkering too. He enjoyed working on the Jeep. Fingers crossed he continues to be interested. She got a wash, original grill back on, grumpy grill off, side steps and mud flaps off. Underside degreased.
All the extra accessories taken out and off from the inside. Eric built a shelf in the garage for all the extra JK parts. I opted to keep the canoe rack on. Tomorrow she gets an oil and filter change. The new brakes have been shipped. Eric left a bucket of listerine in her while we were gone and she definitely smells better. The entire inside is rhino covered, she really is ready to be hosed out. I don't anticipate needing that.
Everything works on her.
I'm certain she is a she/her and I'm fairly certain her name is going to be Squirrel.
I ordered a phone adapter so I can play my music through the stereo, old school. I have a Bluetooth system but it misses and skips.
A few cruise pics from Eric's phone.
Captain Louie.
I stayed home with all intentions of laying low. I didn't actually get much rest and at the same time didn't get anything done either. Where does the time go in a day?
I did have an infection. It is draining. I definitely feel better. Staying home and quiet is HARD.
We did get to meet Jia's boyfriend today. They are official now. It's a brave new world. They're very sweet together. Maybe one day Jia will let me post a picture. Today they grocery shopped for me, that sure was helpful.
