First year the big girls bowed out.
Jia went with Hanna and had a great time. Fei walked with them. Lili stayed home and handed out candy.
Penny, Eric and I took the boys. Or dragged the boys ;) Luk was exhausted after 20 mins and found the stairs at every house difficult. Kai simply can't see once it gets dim so he wasn't having a great time. He did like pushing door bells but once Luk figured out that Kai wanted to push the button he started fighting to get the bell first. Brothers!
They were both asking to go home.
After all that work they didn't even get candy. Eric had made a rice crispy treat and Penny had made an apple cake. We realized a couple days later that they still hadn't had any candy. They aren't asking.
