It's crazy hot. Abnormally hot. I can sure pick dates!
We caught a bus to town for $2 each. Then took a shuttle to Lebufadora. Sp? One of the worlds 3 blow holes. There is also a market with 300 stalls. We had some fun in there. Fei has been wanting a beige hanging hammock chair for years. She got one today. Lili wanted gifts for friends. I bought some small things for the kids. We had fabulous fresh strawberry margaritas. And...we paid a lot to go in a cuddle room with four big cat kittens. Eric stayed out with Kai. He can't tow the line, sit still or be quiet. Then he freaks if critters get near. I didn’t think Luk should come in either but Eric thought he'd like it. He shouldn't have come. Didn't care for those cats. Squealed and wouldn't hold them. Lili is getting sick now so she wasn't that keen. Jia wasn't particularly interested. Fei and I on the other hand were thrilled to cuddle the babies. They were roaring! Too cute. The Siberian tiger was the cutest thing ever. The white tiger fell asleep on me :) the lion was the most docile. A bit bigger and likes to be held like a baby. They are all rescues. We can follow them on Facebook once we're home. We don't know what the black cat is and it wasn't keen on being held. Bit me twice.
We still had hours we could have hung out in town but we opted for getting back on the ship. Where it's nice and cool. Naps and movies in the room.
There are Guy burgers on the lido. We finally tried one with the boys. They are really good. Jia finally ate. She loves burgers. Even she was surprised at how good it was. She watches diners and dives with Eric so she was thrilled.
I just ordered cookies from room service for snack and they brought a dozen warm chocolate chip cookies in a couple minutes! Wow. And they are good.
We all fell asleep waiting for kids club dinner drop off and missed the time. Sigh. So we all went for dinner in the dinning room at 7:30. Too late for the littles. Kai rejected food until he heard ice cream. Jia, Lili and I picked. Eric ordered frog legs. Ew. Luk tried them too. Apparently tastes like chicken. Luk and Fei were the only ones that really ate. Then straight to bed. No clubs or shows. Man these super hot days are wiping us out.
Tomorrow is a sea day. There are so many fun events planned. No way we can do them all. We're booked for a Green Eggs and Ham breakfast. In the afternoon there is a chocolate event and there is a family trick or treat treasure hunt. Fun fun fun.
