Our Anniversary

It's our wedding anniversary and we're not at a school Fun Fair. Crazy.  28 years. Camping opened up today so I booked a local site for one night.  Thought we'd go just us but the girls are both working today so the littles are coming with us.  Nothing fancy.  Pajamas and an extra outfit.  Dinner is mostly precooked.  Doing chicken curry on coleslaw and rice.  Hopefully we'll get a nice walk in along the river. Lili and Fei are bringing the dogs out later for a fire. We have to get going early tomorrow.  I'm working and Kai has a hearing test in Nanaimo. Turns out to be too much work for one night and first trip out for the year. Maybe tonight as we're relaxed by the propane fire eating a s'more it will have been worth the busy day :)

A socially distanced meeting for the graduation party. It's way crazy.  A meeting agenda. MC and sound system, tables, chairs and a 10 by 40 tent coming.  Catered.  Name tags and sign up sheets. Goody/swag bags. Centerpieces and photo opportunities.  13 to 16 graduates and dates.  We just have to get the space ready.  Everything of course more complicated re:covid. I didn't volunteer for any other jobs.  Same kids we have over routinely.  Eric and I manage to feed them on our own. This will be quite the event.  

The deck is really coming along.  

Still needs another coat but looking good so far!

Apparently Fei likes sleeping puppies as much as Jia and I do.  She noticed they are sleeping in a heart shape.  Aww.
