Waiting

This week is when we're supposed to hear if Lili's University courses will be all online or not.  She was told they would be a hybrid because she has labs.  So far three professors have contacted her to say all online for the Sept semester.  So we wait for an update from the fourth Prof.  Might mean she isn't moving out quite yet.  Which of course makes this Mama happy but this certainly isn't how I wanted her start to University to go.  So disappointing.

Especially when we watch our supreme leader out there in crowds of thousands.  Are we in danger or not?!  Which is it?  I have SOOO much to say but I'll spare you all.

There is finally a plan for Graduation.  There is a hybrid plan from the school.  Half the grads doing home visits, private ceremonies and the other half doing small gatherings in the gym. Lili chose the home ceremony.  So we get to gather some family and celebrate together.
The yard is looking great.  Totally on schedule for a party. Eric is doing amazing things.  Luk has been a great helper.  Mom and I were out for a few hours clipping and pruning and Luk stuck it out with us. He likes gardening.  He then helped me haul everything out of the garden shed. Gross job.  Happy to report the bulk of the treasures are heading to the dump.  We're in a rare, almost never seen window of time where Eric is letting me get rid of things.
A proper carport ceiling!  I've wanted this since we bought the house.  Today Eric is working on painting/restoring the old deck railing to put back.  He also got a replacement pump for his power washer so lots of cleaning going on right now.
This morning as I left for work.  Can't wait to see what they painted.

Gramma is shopping for flowers today.  Luk and I pulled out some old plant pots, Eric washed them and bought some dirt.  Luk and Gramma are going to fill them.  He's excited.

The littles all had fun being back to school.  The boys class has 5 kids.  They were there Thursday and Friday.  I can not tell you how much I love this model!  Home with us for 5 and in school for 2.  Hoping this can work into something more permanent.  Also, no homework assignments just reading.  Yay!!
