A 12 Dog Day.

12 dogs here on Saturday.  We were dogsitting Lian's Ellie and she bolted, leaped right over the porch and into the hedge and was heading to the gate!  Charles quickly shut the gate.  Major stress.  She's a rescue and has issues.  She spent the bulk of the day locked in Lili's room after that. For the most part the other 11 dogs were well behaved. There were a few minutes where Jasper escaped the yard into a neighbors yard.  He came back willingly.  I also got Thelonious to take a treat from my hand.  We'll get there :)

Once upon a time the house was full of little kids.  Now big kids coming and going and full of little dogs and Isabel ;)

Summer fun.

Poppy and Silas.  Awe.  Anything cuter than puppies with little kids?  

Pass the puppy was the favored game for the day.

These two are getting close.  Mom found Poppy up with Finn.  I think had we left them alone they would have napped together.

It was just a little too busy around here for much picture taking.  

I definitely had grandiose thoughts of group dog pictures.  Missed opportunities.
