Michelle has been working with Kai through school. Her last day was Friday. She's going back to school herself. She was sad at the thought of not seeing him again. I've assured her they can stay friends. We had our first play date today to meet her minis and her partner.
Kai clearly adores Michelle and he was very excited to meet the horses. He was possibly more excited about the chickens running everywhere!
Mom came with us. We all had a great visit. Tons of commonalities.
Eric has the new/new deck ready for the next step. All tarped off and dry. It's incredibly weird to not see the yard. We're not sure what the next step/finish will be.
Another project started. Eric cleaned out the dog yard, replaced a section of fence, trimmed trees and took out all the scrub. All prep for netting going over the whole yard. Protecting the Chihuahuas from predators. He put in another cat door to the pen. The cats are enjoying it but we're not ready to teach the littles how to use it yet.
My coins in cups experiment has been a dismal failure or a fabulous success. ? I only caught 4 infractions in 3 days. Then I left a chair out and had to give them one back. So after 3 whole days I had .25 cents. Haha. So that was a fun game but we're scrapping punitive training and going back to our regular programming. It's clear they're pretty good kids that require a bit of prompting here and there.
