Friends came for dinner and then we got to go ride the train. The rain and snow held off. The train cars were all covered so we were dry. It wasn't too cold out ;) It was mostly a great night. Kai isn't keen on being out at night. Night blindness. Too scary for him. I think he enjoyed the actual train ride part and he was thrilled to see Dagen.
Bed seems about right for her. Isabel has a hurt foot. Eric dragged her bed down and slept in the living room with her. She's a bit better today. We're not sure of this owie is related to her hurt dew claw from last week or from Kai stepping on her yesterday. If only Kai or Isabel could tell us. In the meantime she's getting lots of treats and attention.
Sat down to work on Friday and found a gift.
Jia wants to learn to skate. She has dreams of performing since watching Snoopy on ice. You have to book online now. I registered Jia, Fei, Luk and Eric for today.

Luk wasn't excited about going. He made it 20 feet while screeching that it was too slippery. He let go of the support and promptly fell. Then screamed extremely dramatically. Eric had to carry him out. He refused to try again. Unfortunately for him he had to sit for an hour and a half waiting for the girls. Unfortunately for Eric he also had to sit because Luk is too young to leave on his own. I think we can safely say it's unlikely Luk will ever try skating again.
