We were early. Thinking more along the lines of Victoria Pride. Haha. They are not the same at all.
The view was great.
It was a fun event. Very calm.
Lili had fun walking in the parade. We saw her briefly afterwards then she was off for a hike with a group of friends.
The spectators followed the end of the parade down to the park and it was absolutely nuts how many people were there!
We opted to head to the mall for lunch instead of staying in the mob.
Poppy is a star.
She was too cute in the stroller.
Mt Benson
5 hours.
Elevation was 3,356 ft.
So, pride parade, hike and now a late dinner out with friends. This girl is seriously busy and on the go.
Kai got my Dole Whip.
Eric had him call me to brag this fact up. Which was pretty funny. He definitely knew he was getting to do something special with Dad.
Love it. I'm not jealous.
Climbing the stump isn't surprising for Eric but him stopping to take the picture definitely was. I usually push. I told him I was surprised he stopped and he said if there is no pictures it didn't happen. He's learning ;)
He hiked the whole trail at Little Qualicum and didn't take a single picture.
While sitting on pavement, in the sun Eric sent me this picture and said he and Kai had found some trails and dirt. Shockingly, Kai LOVED bouncing around in Oscar. He was shouting yeehaws and wanted to do more after lunch. Hillarious and seriously shocking. I'm not jealous.
I had to come home again because I have an eye specialist appointment early in the morning and then a school meeting with Jia. Eric and Kai are enjoying another night camping on their own. And again, I'm not jealous ;)
