The bags are packed and locked. I got all of our stuff in the red ones, but they were overweight. The gifts and donations were in the old black one, again...overweight. So, the girls and I were off to Nanaimo yesterday to get a hard sided suitcase, thought it might also help to get Jia's teaset home. We did get one at Winners so we dispersed the weight last night and we're finally done and ready to go, phew. Catherine, we did do a test last night and the luggage all fits with room for Mom and her luggage too. We haven't put Jia's carseat in yet, we know it fits in the middle row with the girls boosters but it's going to be a pain for them to do their buckles up.
Still need to clear off my desk at work but it's under control today. Will need to settle the animals tomorrow and Wed. Eric got the lawn mowed yesterday. I'm hoping to be home on Wed. while the girls are in school and get some housework done before we leave, but as always, the house is last :)
Miss Fei finally lost that problem front tooth!! Her shark tooth grew in the front instead of behind so we've all been waiting for the old one to come out. The one she knocked out when she was 3 and we had put back in, the Dentist told us it would fall out early, nope, held on good and tight. She's lisping and so proud to have lost that one finally. The tooth fairy left $5. She(he) comes after I go to sleep and keeps leaving awfully high amounts, will have to talk to her(him) about that.
Anyways...all is good. Right now everything is about the last time we'll do this and that without Jia. Yesterday was our last girls day. I said it would still be girls day on Sunday but the girls assure me it won't be the same.
