Quiet day.

Emma and Jia

Not much going on today.  We spent the day at the hotel.  We were supposed to do a celebration dinner but Meilin is sick and Inge's group decided not to go, so we opted out as well.  Our family went for a walk looking for Cafe Roma.  We couldn't find anyone at the hotel who spoke English tonight so we of course didn't find it and ended up taking a cab back to the hotel and eating here.  Eric had a tough time ordering, again...no English.  He ordered a grilled ham and cheese sandwich, fruit and a pizza.  We got fruit, spring rolls, a bacon, pickle and tomatoe croissant and then the pizza was delivered to our room.  Close enough.  Miss Jia had a whole jar of carrots, some noodles and nutrios for dessert.  She apparently will eat mush if she is hungry enough :)

Eric is sick and now Mom is too.  Lili, Fei and I are fine.  Jia's cold seems better.

Although the locals are freezing, we all thought it was darn refreshing here.  We've had the window open all day and none of us wanted to come in, it was so nice to feel cool air.  It's fresher too.

Jia is going between Eric and I no problem.  She still prefers me for sleeping, bottles, diapers and clothing changes but he's great for playing, feeding and packing her around.  Her 20lbs. is starting to feel like a whole lot more.  We saw Sue and Joe's little Emma tonight and took a couple pictures.  Jia is double her size, literally.  They're one month apart in age.  Also tonight Jia decided Grandma was OK and was happy to spend some time with her.  Cute.

We get Jia's passport at noon tomorrow.  I've gone on line and gotten the address for Cafe Roma, so that should help tomorrow.  Wish I'd thought to do that earlier.  Mom and the girls are determined to have spaghetti.

Mom, Lili and I went out this afternoon and bought another Chinese bottle and some Nestle formula that we can mix with the Good Start in case we run out.  I think we will if she continues drinking the way she has been.

Tomorrow is our last whole day in Nanchang.  I'm sad to leave and happy to go.
