We did the other side on our way into Port Alberni. The entire walk is this fancy shmancy boardwalk. It's so nice and easy to walk. We let Kai lead the way. I'd definitely advise this side for a little walk. However...we do think there are bigger trees on the other undeveloped side.
Then to Sproat Lake for a swim.
We got Kai a bigger tube. He was so happy just floating around while Eric and May swam around keeping him close to shore. He has zero swimming ability and no desire to do anything but float.
Lunch served with their feet in the water. Luxury.
To the Harbour Quay for dinner.
We ended our day at the Coombs Candy and Creamery. Homemade ice cream. That was really good. Prices are reasonable. If you're cruising through this stop is worth it.
