The surgeon is one that has seen Luk since he was first home. We like her. She is all over the disaster of timing issues and has made calls. He's now having his casts off here the day before his spinal cord clinic and his fitting the day after spinal cord clinic. Which is in two weeks. Which is when the surgeon wanted to see him again anyways. So it will be 3 days of appointments but one trip instead of 3! Gotta like that.
His procedure is done. Just waiting for him to hit the recovery room now.
I have to sign papers for the $4430.00 afo's and it's too much walking for Luk. So I'm going to put him in a hallway to wait for me. Weird. I'm still not ok with him being on his own. He's 11.
The funding for the afo's was previously approved all except $104, phew.
