Our estimated 4 hour drive took 6. Blame Seattle.
My gosh I hate Seattle.
At one point there were 18 reported accidents ahead of us. Three hours of five lane crawling bumper to bumper.
Again, it's hard to remember road trips are fun during this level of super serious adult bumper cars crossed with dodge ball.
But, we made it. Eric is my hero. Weaving through with a trailer.
The Commander is too much of a beast to be named something girly like Cherry. Perhaps Beast?
We got gas and stocked up with groceries at a huge Walmart in Chehalis. I was having huge feels like we've been in there before. Possible I guess. Soooooo many food items we don't see at home. We didn't dawdle as long as we could have because we were two hours late showing up at our hosts place.
It's dark, we made it, set up was quick. We're not positive we're in the right spot. A late dinner/snack combo and we're all tucked in. Playing on our phones. Planning to be up at 7 and heading to Heaven On Earth for lunch. Then onto McCloud to our next host for the night.
After lunch Eric went down to the car for a nap. I stayed up where it's warmer and sat behind these folks who played jazz the whole way. They were very talented. What a treat. They were on their way to musicians camp near White Rock. So fun.
We had the best view from the car, right up front. Shannon, I had to laugh, Eric moved his Mickey to the Commander and it was bobbing around in the wind.
