At the top of the Malahat Mountain, at a huge antenna where there is no light pollution, save our phones, we were able to see the stars in a way I've never seen them before. It was magical. It was also funny all of us trying to get through the bush to a clearing in the pitch dark.
Night wheeling. Group of 5 cars. We went to Oliphant Lake but it was too dark and I didn't see water. Haha. Had to ask later about it and was told we did get to it and then moved on.
I have read about the secret gentlemens club but we had no idea where it was. There is a structure out in the wilds. Now we can say we got there and enjoyed a fire with friends and new friends.
There is indeed a stage and pole.
And a kitchen. Rudimentary. Even has a sink.
The Ninja Creamy does in fact make icecream. This one was a chocolate peanut butter protein drink with a splash of milk to tame the flavor down. I see lots of frozen sugar free treats in my future.
Random picture of my babies. It's hard to get them still because they always follow me. I told them about 20 times to stay while I turned a light on and got my phone and they oddly listened to me.
Not much happened around here for Valentines day. I put out the usual treats the night before for the kids. Eric and I always skip V-day. Lili wasn't here to get her treat and feel the love so Jia and I took it to her. We met at Ping's for lunch. Which was fabulous although pricey.
Today Jia works and Eric the boys and I are going to visit at Mary and Charles house. They hosting a LNY lunch. We're skipping the lunch part since we'll be late from dropping Jia.
