A good chunk of the day looked like this. All through the Shasta area. Oy. Slow going through the fog.
We made it to White Rock. There was a two car wait at the border. We made better time than ever on this trip. If you take Canadians out of the equation apparently the traffic gets way lighter ;)
I used hot wire. We got the room for $67. It's brand new and on the ocean. Eric heard a fellow making a reservation for two nights and it was $1000. Hot wire is a weird thing ;) I love the gamble part.
We uber ordered Noodle Box, it was here in 19 minutes. Wow.
We booked an early ferry and should be home around 11 tomorrow.
Overall my bumbelarie is doing ok. The Chrones has been well behaved. I do have some sunburn. I also have cankles. I only ever get swollen ankles on holidays where I'm hot. So it's some sort of electrolyte episode likely combined with too much sodium. It will be nice to be home, back to my bland, boring and predictable diet.
I get to see my babies! I've missed them. It will of course be devastating to not have Finn doing his super excited howling every time we come home from a trip.
