We were supposed to meet friends but they changed their minds so it was just our family. It was an odd experience. The place is hands down the least accessible place we've ever been. Staff were clueless about accessibility. It was pouring rain. Eric and Luk were seriously drenched from walking all over and around looking for ramps.
Kids waiting and ready to get going.
The skylift was fun but a whole lot of adults rushed us to get on. Who pushes past a wheelchair?! Pretty sure ski people just aren't our people.
There weren't a lot of people there thankfully. They had three people clearing the skating rink but no one clearing paths. So it was tough to get to Santa's workshop and to the reindeer pen. Plus...pelting rain. Eric had to pull the chair backwards through the slushy snow.
The lodge was nice but to get up or down Eric had to go out and around with Luk.
Lunch was good. We were all happy to be out of the rain. We've been now...no need to go back. Kai was really, really excited about seeing Reindeer. Also...first year ever that everyone willingly went to Santa and no tears! Jia wasn't thrilled but she didn't like my solution of her staying outside alone either. I asked her to h
be a good sport for Luk and Kai.
