Then we had lunch out with Catherine and Marty. They picked a restaurant by their rating. What?! We don't have that here. Worked, the Chinese food was seriously delicious. Lili's only request for the day was Harmony donuts.
We found our hotel which was a hotwire win. Hotel was old but had new beds and nice linens. The rooms were adjoining and spotless. Once we were settled we went to the Capilano Suspension Bridge. It's all lit up. Not wheelchair friendly but we were able to park it to do the ridge. Luk did the tree hike. Kai and I were freaked about the bridge crossing. So we sat out the tree climb in the dark. We met a nice lady with her Irish Waterdog Addy. She and the dog kept Kai amused :) Then we did the river walk. Eric and the girls did the cliff walk while the boys and I stood in a heated tent and sang Christmas Carol's. It started out a bit rainy but then it cleared and we all had a great time. The pass there is good for the year so we're hoping to head back there during the summer.
Kai's best version of fake sleeping. Seriously though...they were asleep in minutes. Eric, Lili and Fei ate a late dinner out. Jia and I watched our phones and had snacks. We had a good time for such a short little holiday.
