We haven't seen him for a year and a half. He's in University of Toronto and was able to stop in on his way home to Beijing. Originally his Dad was meeting him in Vancouver and they were headed to Yellowknife but his Gramma ended up having sudden surgery. She's ok and at home now but he's going home instead.
He had never experienced a power outage so that added to his fun. He slept in the living room for warmth.
The girls and James went to see Mary Poppins Friday night. Nice way to escape the power outage. Saturday was full of games. They played hard all day. The bigs included Jia so that was good. Eric and I did house work and then a big grocery shop at Walmart. I don't have to leave the house for a few days.
We went to Lows for dinner. Had a nice relaxing time there. Lots of reminiscing about when Lili and James met and the time Fei and I spent with his family on her trip. His Mom is anxious to meet Jia on her trip. One more year and it'll be time to plan her trip!
