We came to Kentucky-Allwyne specifically for these guys. We were in too late last night to see them.
All packed ready for the roof and walls to come down.

We were up around 7:30. We had a leisurely morning and got on the road at 9:30. It was supposed to be a 7 hour drive. We're WAY over that for the day. Google maps lie.
We stopped at Orchard Park Mall in Kelowna for lunch. Then we went to a Sports Chek and bought me some Woods sandals. The Keens I chose for the trip were driving me nuts. My feets are comfortable again. It's too hot out for uncomfortable shoes. 32 today.

The last spike.
The actual last spike is actually in a museum in Ontario. A woman working at the park told us they keep painting a regular old spike gold but people keep stealing them. The orginal wasn't actually gold either.

This morning before we were packed up.
We still have a couple more hours of driving. We'll be arriving in the dark. Then we get three whole days in Radium!
I just checked Facebook and grumbled about idiot things in Duncan and Eric told me to put the phone down and look at the views. He's right. Time to holiday.
