We found a hot dog fund raiser at the fire hall.
Their first bratsworths.
Kai got a tour of a firetruck.
He was allowed to touch.
He was delighted.
Then we went through their by donation sale and got the three Narnia movies as a set. So the plan is to watch them at night. We'll see. So far we've been too busy to watch screens much.
The old tyme candy shop. Super pricey but quite the array! I picked a rootbeer stick, Eric and the boys got a box of bottlecaps.
We found wild sheep. Not big horns but Eric thinks they're called doll sheep. We have cell service at the campsite but no data. I'm trying to whip this off and play my game while we're in town. We're waiting on pizza. Kai is thrilled.
Major reconstruction in the cool pools.
There is no end to the gorgeous views.
The boys seemed less than impressed with the hot pools. A few minutes in and Kai was ready to go. Luk was too but he politely wasn't asking.
The origjnal plan was come in May when it's cool out and we could enjoy the warm swim and then cozy into jackets with hot chocolate. It's 27 and we're seeking shade still. Haha. The best laid plans. Booking four months in advance is hard.
Kai is spending more and more time with his eyes closed. Way more things by feel. He now eats with his eyes closed most of the time.
We couldn't eat it all.
Off to find ice and some fresh fruit and head back.
Oh, we met our neighbors this morning. Nice couple from Calgary. They love their Chalet. Ours is 2007, theirs is 2008. We did tours of each others.
