Sickness in the house.

Kai has a cough.  It's deep and rattling.  I found Jia up making tea at one in the morning for her sore throat, so she's next.  So now I'm laying in bed wishing I had time to lallygag listening to Kai cough and cough and cough and trying to figure out how many days until the rest of us fall. Which days of the holidays will be ruined and how to do the long list of things if we're all getting it.  Sheesh.  

Kai has zero ability to cover his mouth, or turn away.  He can't keep a mask on.  We're at his gross mercy.  We're all just trying to stay clear of him.  

The pandemic taught us nothing.

There were sick kids and teachers at school yesterday when Mom and I were there to watch the concert.  

This morning we're dropping Oscar to get a recall part put in.  It was ordered in August and just came in.  We can't remember what it is.  

Fei's car has a fire hazard recall but parts aren't available for hers yet so she has to park away from the house.
