22 years of wedded bliss.

Our anniversary is tomorrow but the girls piano recital is tomorrow too so we decided to celebrate all day with the kids in the big city.  Costco, museum to learn about Vikings and get my kiss in the ship, to have a picnic at the kite festival, visit to the VV Boutique and finally dinner at my favorite place Cafe Mexico - yum.  Our first date was to the museum and our first kiss was in the ship :)  Not so romantic with the four kidlets but lots of fun anyways.  Jia declared that she wanted a kiss in the ship too and a new family tradition is born.

Luk at the dentist.

No cavities.  All looks good.  Eric had all four of them in last week.  Girls were all cavitiy free too. I'm just getting the pics off the kids phones.

Fun Fair

Another fun fair down and it was fun.  Big girls and I did ticket sales for two hours.  They were a lot of fun to work with.  We ended up with Luk too.  He was in a super duper bad mood so didn't want to have any fun.  Eric and Jie  went and played while Luk sulked with us for a while then after some sugar fun fair style he lightened up and was having fun at the end dancing to the music.

Camping trip #2

We headed out, just us.  Had a nice time.  Luk still loves camping and Jia would like to stay in the trailer permanently.  Weather held for us.  We're all looking forward to our next trip.

Jia's introduction to kindergarten.

She was so excited to be going to Lili and Fei's school.  She is asking constantly now when she can go to her new school.  She had a great day.  Loved Mrs. Thomas.  Loved all the activities.  She won some books.  She got to wear an arts and crafts apron and that was super good.  I watch too much Four Square with the kids...super good!

Eric was sorting for the bottle drive but he came in for a couple minutes during snack time.

Camping trip #1

We made it out for a group trip.  Fun time for all of us.  We managed just fine with four kidlets in the trailer.  Luk loved camping.  Jia was delighted to have Kalum to herself for a couple days :)

Cheers with Al.

Oh my word...how stinkin' cute!!

Luk's alphabet

We'll have had Luk six months this Saturday.  He's 2 1/2 now.  Here he is doing the alphabet with me.  Such a sweet little voice!  Love this kid.

Need to add some photos from Mothers Day.  I need more time.  We're heading for our first camping trip of the year this weekend.  Luk's first time camping, I got him some blue bedding and a dinosaur toy box for the trailer, no pink roses for him :)  I can't imagine what he'll do for three days in a campsite.  He's still pretty unsteady and the site is all gravel.  I'm concerned about six of us in our trailer.  We have enough beds but it's squishy in there.  Table still only seats four.   School is getting busier, as it always does at the end of the year.  Lili is on the school soccer team.  Fei made the cross country team.   Jia just had her welcome to kindergarten session.  She loved it.  She is soooo ready to be in school with Lili and Fei.  I can't believe we'll be dropping three kids off in September!  Lili and Fei have both asked for some voice lessons and Lili wants to add drumming lessons.  Busy, busy.
